Caring For Your Treasured Textiles

Day Class to learn how you can care for your treasured textiles.

Join us for a day class to look at ways in which you can care for your textile treasures. Under the guidance of Sarah Howard, professional textile conservator, you will discover how to store, pack and display your textiles and learn practical ways in which they can be repaired and conserved.

Drawing on the experience and skills used behind the scenes at The D-Day Story, you will find out tips used by museum professionals to conserve and preserve their textile collections. You are welocme to bring your own textiles for advice on how to care for them.
