Caring for your treasured textiles

Day class

Join us for a practical workshop to look at ways in which you can care for your fabric and textile treasures. Under the guidance of Sarah Howard, professional conservator, you will discover how to store, pack and display your fabrics and learn practical ways in which they can be repaired and conserved.  You are welcome to bring your own treasured items of clothing or other fabrics for advice and guidance on how to care for it them. No previous knowledge or practical experience is necessary – just your attention and enthusiasm!

Tickets are £60 and include lunch and refreshments. They must be booked in advance on Eventbrite, search 'Caring for your treasured textiles'.
